The FANS, a.s. Company has signed a contract with its long-standing customer, Mondi Štětí, a.s.
The subject of this contract is delivery of two cooling towers, CTFRP 200/III anf CTFRP 140/III, as a turn-key delivery. The cooling towers are part of two independent circuits, which are used to cool water for operating a turbo-generator and an evaporation station. When designing these towers we met the customer’s demanding requirements consisting of high tower performance on a limited area for construction and fulfilment of very low noise parameters. This will be another delivery of cooling towers made from FRP material, which is gradually replacing classic metallurgical profiles or concrete structures. The main advantages of this material are chiefly its long service life, its weather resistance and minimum maintenance costs. It is most frequently used by industrial companies in the paper-making, petrochemical and chemical industries and in fertiliser production. It is becoming increasingly popular and is used more and more frequently due to its advantages. The used FRP profiles comply with the European EN 13706 standard.

- manufacture and delivery
- assembly work
- guarantee measurements
- warranty and post-warranty servicing
Realisation of the entire project was launched during the 3rd quarter of 2017 and the towers will be put into operation during the 4th quarter of 2018.
